Who runs this site

I am Trevor Unland, based in Southern California. This policy covers my web design and SEO site at web.unland.dev. My other sites and products have their own notices.

Information I receive

If you use the project form, I receive the name, email address, optional website URL, and message you provide. If you email me directly, I receive your email and what you choose to send. Please do not include passwords, payment information, or other sensitive details in an initial inquiry.

Vercel hosts this site and processes ordinary request and security data needed to serve it, such as an IP address, browser information, requested page, and time of access.

Why I use it and who receives it

I use inquiries to reply, understand a possible project, prepare a scope or proposal, and keep related business correspondence. The form submits to Web3Forms, which routes the message to my Proton Mail inbox at trevor@unland.dev. Web3Forms describes its storage, retention, and spam-screening providers in its privacy policy. Direct email sent to trevor@unland.dev is also handled by Proton Mail. Vercel processes website requests to host and protect the site. These providers handle data under their own terms and privacy notices. I do not sell inquiry information or use it for cross-site advertising.

Google Search Console provides me search and indexing information about this domain without loading an Analytics script in your browser. If you choose optional analytics, Google Analytics receives information about pages viewed, device and browser details, and an event when a project form is successfully submitted. The event does not include your form fields. I use those reports to understand site traffic and whether visitors reach the contact step. See Google’s privacy policy.

Cookies and browser signals

Google Analytics is optional on this site. Its tag does not load until you choose “Allow analytics.” If you decline, the tag does not load. If you allow it, Google Analytics may set analytics cookies and process visit data. This site stores only your allow or decline choice in your browser’s local storage so the choice persists. You can change it at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

The contact form and site pages work without analytics. Vercel and other hosting or security services may still process technical request data needed to deliver and protect the site. I do not use your activity here for sale or cross-context behavioral advertising. I do not load advertising pixels. A Global Privacy Control signal does not need to disable advertising here because I do not run it, and optional analytics stays off until you choose to allow it.

Keeping information and your choices

I keep project correspondence while it is useful for a conversation or business relationship, and longer when a legitimate recordkeeping, dispute, or security need requires it. Provider logs and form processing follow the relevant provider settings and retention practices. You can ask what inquiry information I hold, request a correction or deletion, or ask a privacy question by emailing trevor@unland.dev. I will review the request and explain if a record must be retained for a legitimate reason.

I will update this page and its effective date when my data practices materially change. The website terms explain the scope of information and inquiries made through this site.
